Alazne Larrinaga is a fully qualified Alexander Technique teacher. She also holds a Degree in Economics and an M.A. in Finance from the University of the Basque Country (UPV), Bilbao, Spain. She worked for over 10 years for high-profile companies in finance in Madrid, Pittsburgh, Milan and Bilbao.

During her first pregnancy she suffered from back pain, which led her take her first Alexander Technique lesson with Richard Brennan in Galway, Ireland. Alazne soon came to realise the Technique's long-lasting benefits and decided to join the teacher training course in September 2012.

In March 2016 she graduated from the school, having completed the required 1600 hours of training.

While training as a teacher she had her second child and the Alexander Technique helped her managing the wide array of symptoms related to pregnancy. Her experience enables her to work well with pregnant women as well as with people suffering from posture related pain caused by weight lifting or repetitive strain related to sedentary jobs (office work, driving etc).

During her training Alazne had the chance to work with world-class dancers and musicians. Being an amateur musician and dancer herself (she plays the Basque traditional txistu, dances Basque traditional dances and has been learning the tin whistle for a few years) she is able to address issues and discomfort that may arise from these activities in an efficient manner.

You translate everything physical or mental or spiritual, into muscular tension.
