About Louise

Originally hailing from Limerick, Louise has travelled extensively, living & working in North & South America, London & around Northern and Central Europe. She is a practicing member of STAT, the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, after completing their three year full time training course. Since qualifying in 2004, Louise has worked at the City Lit, Helios Complimentary Health Centre, The Actors Centre & Arts Ed Performing Arts College in London. Louise has also run private practices in London, Stockholm, her native Limerick and currently in Mexico City. When practicing full time in Ireland she gave classes, courses and workshops in Limerick and to members of MS Ireland, The Arthritis Association as well as the Irish ME Trust, where she ran two successful 8 week courses.

She is currently working with the National Arts Council in Mexico teaching the Alexander Technique to artists of all disciplines, as well as giving workshops, short courses and classes to Symphony Orchestras, Opera Companies, Musical & Theatre Groups as well as performing arts faculty and students around Mexico City and State.

Whenever she is back on Irish soil, Louise resumes her teaching from Dooradoyle in Limerick. She is available to give short courses, introductory workshops and of course individual sessions to those interested. In addition to the AT, Louise is a professional Singer.
